Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is supporting North Somerset Council to recruit an experienced Safeguarding Social Worker for the North Somerset area, based in Weston-super-Mare. The role offers a pay rate of up to £45 per hour and a 37-hour week with hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office).

Travel contributions of up to £100 per week are available for those commuting to the area. The successful candidate will handle Child in Need, Child Protection planning, care proceedings, assessments, and direct

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience in Children's Social Care with safeguarding expertise.
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and conduct assessments.
• Experience with court reports/interventions is desirable.
