Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd. is seeking a Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Service in Weston-super-Mare. You will work in a frontline team handling child protection and assessment, supporting CIN, CP and LAC cases, with a focus on statutory decision-making.

The role requires a Social Work qualification and 3+ years post-qualified experience, SW England registration, and access to your own vehicle. Hybrid/times on offer with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification with 3+ years post-qualifying experience in frontline and assessment work.
• Degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and Social Work England registration.
• Must have access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced frontline team handling child protection and referral/assessment.
• Engage with CIN/CP/LAC caseloads and contribute to statutory decisions.
