Bury Council is seeking a Children’s Advanced Practitioner for the Family Safeguarding Team in Bury. This hybrid role involves mentoring, leading practice, and delivering high-quality child-centred work with a focus on safeguarding and MI.

You will manage a small, complex caseload, receive full training in the Family Safeguarding Model and Motivational Interviewing, and work closely with Team Managers to meet statutory requirements and standards.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
• Experience with children and families in need of help and protection.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and practice implications for services.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities with sound judgement.
• Good time management to meet deadlines and manage caseloads.

Aufgaben

• Put children at the heart of every decision and practice.
• Mentor and supervise ASYE colleagues and less experienced staff.
• Undertake assessments, visits, and interventions with families.
• Lead and embed the Family Safeguarding Model and MI in practice.
• Develop workforce capability and support service transformation.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Deputise for Team Manager and participate in panels and meetings.
