Job summary

Homes2Inspire, part of the Shaw Trust Group, is recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker for our Malvern, Worcestershire home. You will lead shifts, support up to 3 children, and work with staff to maintain high standards of care and safeguarding.

The role requires a minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's setting, a QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent), and a full UK driving licence. You will be a positive role model, promoting wellbeing and independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a childrens setting.
• QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent (or 50% through).
• Availability to work a shift rota including weekends and bank holidays and sleeps.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of young people in our care.
• Provide daily care and support, including cooking, cleaning, and budgeting or shopping.
• Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies.
• Maintain a safe environment following procedures and safeguarding regulations.
• Lead shifts and support staff to monitor behaviour and wellbeing.
• Transport young people to school and medical appointments.
