Do you have the resilience, leadership skills and passion needed to support young people who have experienced trauma and adversity?
We're looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our established children's home in Malvern, Worcestershire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in supporting young people while helping to lead shifts, develop staff and maintain high standards of care and safeguarding.
Homes2Inspire are one of the UK’s leading providers of children’s homes, caring for over 150 children across 56 homes and 2 semi-independent leaving care facilities. We are proud to be part of the Shaw Trust Group, a charity dedicated to transforming lives across the UK.
As a Senior Support Worker at Rosendale House, you will provide support for up to 3 children who live in our children’s residential home in Great Malvern Worcestershire, WR14.
Our home provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment by offering emotional and practical support to help children and young people develop life skills and build confidence.
You will assist the management team and take responsibility for leading a shift, directing roles and responsibilities to support workers - ensuring the monitoring of children and young people’s behaviour, safety, and well-being at all times.
Effective communication skills, along with the ability to build relationships with others are vital. We are looking for an individual who can lead by example, uphold standards, and ensure that the safeguarding of children and young people underpins all decisions made.
If you thrive on variety, where every day is different but is equally rewarding, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. With smaller homes and high staff-to-young-person ratios, you will have the chance to build meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference.
Due to the rural location of the home, drivers are essential.
