Job summary

Blue Mountain Homes Limited seeks a Senior Children’s Residential Care Worker in Ollerton to support young people with mild to moderate learning disabilities, focusing on safety, education and wellbeing within a regulated children’s home.

Applicants should have experience in a Children’s Home and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care, plus a valid UK driving licence. Sleep-in shifts are required, with a competitive benefits package and Safer Recruitment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Children’s Home.
• Desirable knowledge of Makaton or PECs.
• Sleep-in shifts are required.
• Enhanced DBS/ Safer Recruitment checks will apply.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive environment for each young person with focus on safety, health and education.
• Uphold home ethos and represent Blue Mountain Homes professionally.
• Maintain practices per Ofsted regulations and Quality Care Standards for children’s homes.
• Deliver residential childcare in line with Company policy.
