First Steps Together Group in Hyde is seeking an experienced, child-centred Registered Manager to lead our residential children's home. You will oversee day-to-day operations, safeguard children, and provide strong, compassionate leadership to a dedicated staff team to secure positive outcomes.

You will ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Ofsted requirements and quality standards, develop care plans, and drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and robust

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare with leadership or management responsibility.
• Ability to lead a staff team and manage operational demands of a children's home.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child development and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day management of the home in line with its Statement of Purpose.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted.
• Provide induction, training and supervision to staff; monitor care quality.
• Develop care and placement plans; manage safeguarding, incidents and audits.
