Job summary

Eleven in United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Carbon Materials Specialist to join an innovative technology business developing and commercialising advanced carbon materials. This is a hands-on R&D role focusing on developing, characterising and scaling carbon materials for high-value applications.

You will lead experimental work, collaborate across chemistry and technical teams, and contribute to safe lab practices while advancing production-scale processes within a small, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • PhD or advanced degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' post-university research experience in carbon materials or related field.
  • Strong understanding of carbon materials, their properties and production routes.
  • Hands-on experience with carbon-material characterisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently within a small, multidisciplinary team.
