Job summary

Delaware North UK is hiring casual Senior Chefs to join our team at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London. As Lead Chef, you will manage the entire kitchen or section, directing food production, presentation, and event execution.

You'll lead culinary teams during high-profile events, ensure Delaware North standards, allergen compliance, and health and safety, while delivering memorable guest experiences. Experience in high-volume catering and strong leadership are essential; no degree required,

Qualifications

• Head Chef or Senior Chef in high-volume catering.
• Ability to lead teams and manage events.
• Experience with allergen compliance and food safety.
• No degree required; on-the-job training provided.

• Lead kitchen operations for events from planning through delivery, deliver team briefings, and manage food production, menus, staffing, and logistics
• Ensure food consistently meets standards and specifications, maintaining high quality, presentation, and consistency
• Lead, support, and develop culinary teams, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining clear communication
• Drive high standards of food presentation and allergen compliance, ensuring quality guest experience, leading teams to deliver seamless event service
• Ensure operation complies with health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards

What will you do?

• Lead, support, and develop culinary teams, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining clear communication

• Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

More about you

• No degree required
• Certification in Level 3 Food Safety, Allergen Expert Level 2, Level 2 Safety Awareness, COSHH Training, and Guest and Staff Experience Training
• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Chef in high-volume, fast-paced catering
• Skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, reliability, punctuality, detail-orientation, and performing under pressure

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Capacity to work evenings and weekends
• Comfortable handling certain meat products
