Job summary

The Arts Club - Brasserie in Mayfair seeks experienced hospitality professionals to provide a warm welcome to members and guests, present menus, explain daily specials, and offer personalised service across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.

You will work under guidance from senior wait staff, answer questions about items and dietary needs, and contribute to a memorable dining experience while upholding the club’s luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Heavily customer-facing role requiring excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to detail in service, orders, and dining setup.
• Strong organisational skills to manage courses and timings.
• Confident, professional and welcoming personality during service.
• Proficiency in English to communicate with members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome by greeting members, presenting menus, and explaining daily specials.
• Follow guidance from senior staff and answer questions about menu items and dietary requirements; suggest recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders and provide attentive, personalised service during breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
• Support junior staff to clean and set up dining areas and maintain service areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome by greeting our members, present menus, and explain daily specials
• Follow the instruction and guidance from the Chef de Rang/Head Waiter and answer questions related to menu items, dietary requirements and suggest recommendations
• Take food and beverage orders, and provide an attentive and personalised level of service during breakfast and or lunch, afternoon tea and dinner providing a memorable and delightful experience for our Members and their guests
• Support commis waiters to clean and set up the dining areas, refill service areas according to the departments standards

Entry Requirements

We are searching for highly motivated and experienced individuals, who have worked in a similar role. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional people skills.
