Job summary

Parsonage Grill in Oxford is recruiting a Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. In this role you will run a section during service, ensuring recipes and presentation meet our standards.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking seasonal ingredients, able to work under pressure, and keen to contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment. A 45-hour week is typical, with a shift pattern including weekends; part-time hours may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe and presentation specifications.

We are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at the Parsonage Grill.

The ideal candidate will:

Typical duties of this role are:

• Confidence in running a section during service
• Following recipe and presentation specifications
• Maintain prep levels appropriate to service
• Ensure all deliveries are put away as soon as they arrive and stock is rotated using the First In First Out method checking “Use by Dates”
• Attend and participate in all team meetings

Requirements for the Senior Chef de Partie position:

• Working under intense pressure
• Passionate about cooking seasonal ingredients
• Experience working in similar restaurants is beneficial although full training will be provided

We offer a sensible shift pattern across a 45-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £15.96 per hour, £37,346.00 per annum.

Based on 45 hours per week, and including non-contractual tronc (service charge).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
