Job summary

Bradley Hall & Partners in the UK seeks a Chartered Valuation Surveyor/Associate to join its Valuation & Lease Advisory team. You will handle a varied portfolio of commercial property valuations across the North East and wider Northern England, including secured lending, financial reporting and acquisitions.

MRICS is required; you will inspect properties, prepare Red Book reports, and build client relationships while supporting junior staff.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or equivalent expected.
• Experience in commercial property valuation and reports.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and numerical skills.
• Ability to inspect diverse property types and work across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and manage a varied portfolio of commercial property valuation instructions.
• Prepare Red Book-compliant valuation reports for lending, accounts and acquisitions.
• Inspect commercial, residential and development properties and record data.
• Perform market research and financial calculations.
• Provide valuation advice to clients, lenders and investors.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and regional markets.
• Manage instructions from enquiry to completion, meeting deadlines.
• Support business development and client proposals.
• Develop and supervise graduate surveyors and junior staff.
• Ensure work complies with RICS Valuation Global Standards.
