Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is partnering with a well-regarded independent building consultancy in Birmingham to recruit for a Chartered/Senior/Associate Building Surveyor. You will join an experienced team delivering professional and project-led services across diverse client bases, with a strong emphasis on industrial and logistics assets.

The role offers genuine variety, significant client exposure, and opportunities to work on large-volume projects—from acquisitions surveys to refurbishment

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with experience in a building consultancy.
• Experience in building surveying within a consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across professional and project work.
• Industrial and logistics sector experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a broad range of professional Building Surveying services.
• Managing refurbishment, alteration and industrial asset improvement projects.
• Contract administration and project management duties.
• Undertaking technical due diligence, conditions surveys, dilapidations and defect diagnosis.
• Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Managing client relationships and providing trusted technical advice.
• Mentoring junior surveyors where appropriate.
• Supporting business development activities and helping grow client relationships, particularly at Associate level.
