Job summary

In2 Consult is recruiting a Chartered Accountant / Practice Manager in Leeds to drive client management and senior-level advisory within an SME-focused practice. The role combines accounting, tax review, and day-to-day practice leadership to support growth.

The successful candidate will lead a team, oversee financial reporting and compliance, and work closely with business owners to deliver practical commercial guidance and improved financial controls.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACCA qualified accountant required.
• Experience in an accountancy practice with SME/owner-managed clients.
• Strong client relationship skills and commercial advisory ability.
• Experience reviewing accounts and tax matters with junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of SME and owner‑managed clients.
• Provide client advisory on accounts, tax, profitability and cash flow.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants and support staff.
• Oversee practice operations, billing, WIP and service quality.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
