Job summary

Retrofit West CIC is seeking a Fantastic Financial Controller to join the Finance Team and support the Director of Finance & Operations in delivering the charitable mission. The role involves day-to-day accounting, payroll, VAT, budgeting, and timely financial reporting across programmes and projects.

You will work with the Finance Manager, Finance Assistant, and SLT to manage the annual budget cycle, prepare regular management accounts, and coordinate audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in charity accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to prepare monthly management accounts and budgets.
• Knowledge of VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payroll, VAT returns, and banking.
• Provide financial reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations and SLT.
• Coordinate annual budget cycle and monthly reporting for audits and funders.
• Support project budgets and financial data for clients and funders.
