Exciting Career Opportunity: Senior Charge Nurse/Practitioner – Ophthalmology Peri-operative Team

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse/Practitioner to lead and manage the Peri-operative team within the Ophthalmology Theatre and Day Case Unit at the National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC-H).

The NTC-H is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility located on the City’s University Campus, designed to provide exceptional care for Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic patients. Featuring 5 theatres, a 24-bedded ward, and a dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team.

In this role, you will have the chance to lead and support the high-volume cataract surgery lists, while also gaining the opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise in other areas of ophthalmology, including surgical retinal, glaucoma, oculoplastic, and cataract surgery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, driven nurse or practitioner to take on a pivotal leadership role and make a real difference in patient care.
