NHS Scotland seeks a dedicated Senior Charge Nurse for their Paediatric department in Inverness. This full-time role involves leadership, managerial responsibilities, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge in Paediatric Care and experience in an acute hospital setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Paediatric Nurse to apply for the Senior Charge Nurse post within our Paediatric Scheduled Care – Day Care & Outpatient Areas
Applicants will be required to demonstrate effective leadership and workforce managerial skills with a flexible approach to working and have extensive knowledge of acute NHS services and a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Paediatric Care.
It is essential that the applicants have experience of clinical activity monitoring and contributing to service performance management as well as experience of working within and contributing to quality assurance systems, using quality assurance data.
Knowledge of health, safety and risk management in the clinical workplace is essential
Applicants will be able to demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and must have previous Band 6 experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent and staff line management.
The successful post holder will lead by example to create a supportive, compassionate and caring culture.
This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours per week working as per service requirements.
