Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead elements of the SEND Improvement Programme, including the SEND Reforms, across education, health and care. You will deliver project management for a priority project, provide support to the wider programme with plans, risks and performance measures, and work with partners to embed a co-produced, system-wide change.

Roles are fixed term to end March 2028; interviews are scheduled in September.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering change or transformation projects within complex, multi-agency environments.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver at pace.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across organisational boundaries.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for your allocated area within the SEND Improvement Plan.
• Provide project management capacity across the wider SEND Improvement Plan overseeing planning, milestones, risks and performance.
• Drive system-wide change through strong partnership working, governance and co-production with children, young people and families.
