Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti seeks an Associate in our Applied Science Practice to provide specialist thermofluids and CFD support across sectors such as energy and infrastructure. You will help drive new business opportunities, oversee staff, and collaborate with Thornton Tomasetti US teams on international projects, especially decarbonisation efforts.

The role requires strong leadership, deep fluid mechanics knowledge, and experience with CFD tools. UK security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in thermofluids/CFD with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across lifecycle phases.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities across multiple industries.
• Lead consultancy projects and interface with UK/overseas clients.
• Present results in client meetings and contribute to proposals.
• Mentor team members on engineering analyses and CFD practices.
