Job summary

Anduril seeks a Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyst to join the Maneuver Dominance team in London. You will lead aerodynamic analysis for a novel payload carriage and release system, applying first principles across hand calculations, MATLAB, and ANSYS/STAR-CCM+ models.

You will collaborate with Mechanical Design, Stress, Actuation, and Airframe Architects to deliver robust solutions, validate models through tests, and contribute to tools and templates while traveling to test sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years in a technical aerospace engineering role with stakeholder management and project delivery
• Proficiency with CFD tools and modeling practices; strong basics in fluid dynamics

Responsibilities

• Own and drive aerodynamic analysis of payload carriage and release system
• Use first principles and appropriate analysis methods (hand calcs, MATLAB, CFD)
• Develop computational models to predict aircraft performance and dynamics
• Collaborate with design, stress, actuation, and airframe teams to refine solutions
• Define requirements and evaluate aerodynamic designs with partner orgs in UK/US
• Support tests to validate models and predictions
• Contribute to tools, templates, and processes
• Foster a positive, educational team environment
• Travel to test sites and vendors as needed
