University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust invites applications for two replacement consultant cellular pathologists to join our forward-thinking team based at the UHCW site. CWPS provides services for multiple trusts and welcomes specialists in breast and gynecological pathology, with broader interests also considered.

Participation in autopsy is welcomed but not essential. The appointee will engage in research and teaching, with protected sessions and access to Warwickshire

Qualifications

• Pathologists with sub-specialist interests in breast and gynaecological pathology.
• Autopsy service participation welcomed but not essential.
• Research and teaching (undergraduate and post graduate) encouraged with protected sessions.

Responsabilités

• Provide diagnostic consultation and advisory service to clinical colleagues in the Network and primary care.
• Histology reporting will be digital once trained and validated.
• Develop links with clinicians and work to develop services to the highest standards including best practice guidance.
• Adopt diagnostic and treatment protocols and other relevant guidelines.
