Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (CWPS) invites applications for two replacement consultant cellular pathologists to join our forward-thinking team based at UHCW in Coventry. Sub-specialist interests in breast and gynaecological pathology are preferred, with broader opportunities in dermatopathology and other areas.

The appointee will provide diagnostic consultation, develop links with clinicians, and contribute to teaching and research within a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Independent reporting in cellular pathology including sub-specialist experience.
• Leadership of clinical team and ability to supervise and coach staff.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong communication and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic consultation and advisory service to the Network and primary care.
• Histology reporting will be digital once trained and validated; voice recognition training provided.
