Job summary

Apollo seeks a Ceded Reinsurance Oversight Manager to join the Ceded Reinsurance Team, overseeing ceded reinsurance across Platform Partner Syndicates. You will ensure compliance with Apollo processes, Lloyd’s Principles and regulatory requirements, supporting contract administration, reporting, settlements and the ongoing management of reinsurance arrangements.

This role works across underwriting, finance and claims, with external partners, in a hybrid London environment to strengthen controls

Qualifications

• Experience in a London Market ceded or outward reinsurance function.
• Understanding of proportional and non-proportional reinsurance, including premium processing.
• Experience with Lloyd's market systems and reporting submissions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ceded reinsurance activity across Platform Partner Syndicates and ensure compliance with Apollo processes and regulatory requirements.
• Support placement, administration and ongoing management of reinsurance arrangements, including contract processing and settlements.
• Manage outsourced reinsurance support, validate outputs and monitor premium and claims calculations.
• Prepare management information for governance meetings and Lloyd’s reporting.
• Maintain accurate reinsurance data and resolve queries with internal and external partners.
• Support onboarding of additional Platform Partner Syndicates and drive process improvements.
