Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Designer (Advisor) / CDM / Health & Safety Specialist to support and advise clients on CDM 2015 across the Energy Division. You will help shape safe design practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with multidisciplinary teams on major power generation and transmission projects.
Hybrid working policy in the UK enables collaboration with project teams across multiple offices while maintaining flexible arrangements.
Qualifications
- Experience advising on CDM Regulations in energy/infrastructure projects.
- NEBOSH Construction qualification or higher safety credential required.
- Chartered or working toward chartership in a relevant institution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain CDM Compliance Strategies and Building Safety Act alignment.
- Support clients with pre-construction information and hazard controls.
- Review hazard information and help manage hazard registers across projects.
- Work with designers to identify, eliminate, or control risks.
- Guide safe design through construction, operation, and handover phases.
- Assist in Health & Safety File preparation.
