Responsibilities

• Lead the Principal Designer role under CDM 2015 regulations across the lifecycle of multiple projects.
• Engage with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure health & safety is embedded from day one.
• Deliver robust pre-construction information and risk management strategies.
• Advise on design risk mitigation and compliance during planning, design, and delivery phases.
• Champion best practices in health & safety across the business.

CDM/Principal Designer

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in the Principal Designer role, ideally from a consultancy environment.
• Thorough knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A professional membership (e.g., IOSH, APS, RICS, CIOB, or similar) is highly desirable.
