Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior CBT Therapist for the Barnet Talking Therapies Service in North London. The role involves leading clinical supervision, managing staff, and carrying a small clinical caseload while contributing to service development.

The post operates with a hybrid model (2–3 days on-site) and some evening clinics, with opportunities to support senior management as required.

Qualifications

• BABCP-accredited CBT therapist with senior-level experience.
• Experience delivering CBT for depression, anxiety and related conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision and line-management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and highly specialised clinical supervision within an NHS Talking Therapies service.
• Offer expert psychological assessment and treatment in CBT and counselling.
• Provide advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues.
• Work autonomously within guidelines and team policies and procedures.
• Lead on service development, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support senior management in delivering Talking Therapies KPI targets and manage day-to-day operations.
