Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Clinician to join the Mid Essex Talking Therapies Team. The role provides specialist support, guidance and supervision to CBT therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to enhance client care.

The post is based at Tekhnicon House in Braintree with on-site work for a minimum of two days per week. It is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) focusing on supervision, consultancy and service development within

Qualifications

• Post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and current BACP/UKCP/BAPCP registration.
• Experience supervising qualified and non-qualified clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological care guidance to non-psychological therapists and carers in community mental health, primary care and related agencies.
• Supervise band 7 psychological therapists/trainees and other therapies practitioners as required.
• Collaborate with local mental health service teams and other psychological therapies colleagues.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and team policies.
• Apply research skills for audits, teaching, policy and service development.
