Grenade UK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead the Tesco account, shaping category strategy with insights and data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with the Head of Commercial Planning & Execution, and coach two Category Managers across Wholesale, Convenience, and major supermarket channels.

The role requires strong data analytics, relationship-building with key customers, and the ability to adapt to market changes while guiding the team to deliver growth for Grenade.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG category management is essential.
• Direct experience with Tesco is preferred.
• Experience managing top grocery accounts.
• Proficient with Nielsen, Circana and Kantar data sources.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary category partner for Tesco, leading joint business planning with a fact-based, insight-led approach.
• Utilise shopper data to build and deliver compelling category stories that unlock growth opportunities for Tesco and Grenade.
• Shape the range and space of the HBW category in collaboration with Tesco, influencing key decisions across categories.
• Partner with commercial and customer marketing teams to align recommendations with wider business objectives.
• Support in creating a high-performance culture focused on insight-led selling, customer influence, and execution excellence.
