Title: Senior Associate, Category Management

Location: London Office Based EC1V 7LQ

Working Hours: 40 hours (Monday-Friday)

As a Category Manager at Wayfair, you’ll lead commercial strategy across a portfolio of suppliers, acting as a growth coach, performance driver, and trusted advisor to external partners and internal stakeholders. You’ll own your product class P&L, unlock new selection opportunities, and deliver long-term value by blending strategic insight, sharp data analysis, and creative commercial acumen.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage your own portfolio of supplier accounts and own the strategy and P&L for a key product class

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers (including C-suite), acting as a strategic advisor and growth coach

  • Execute negotiations and secure optimal commercial terms

  • Drive catalog expansion by identifying selection gaps, prioritising new product onboarding, and engaging target suppliers

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across merchandising, marketing, operations, and analytics

  • Analyse performance metrics and implement data-driven strategies to accelerate category and supplier growth

  • Monitor competitor pricing, product mix, and marketing to inform strategic direction

  • Represent Wayfair at trade shows and conduct supplier site visits (2–5 times per year)

What You’ll Need

  • Fluency in English (essential)

  • Proven experience in management consulting, eCommerce, or a similar analytical and strategic industry

  • A data-driven mindset with demonstrated experience turning insights into actionable business plans

  • Proven track record of stakeholder management and relationship building at all levels

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience negotiating commercial terms and contracts

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree (preferred) or alternatively, demonstrable and related work experience.
