We are currently looking for a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to be based in London on a full-time basis, reporting into the Group Head of Exposure Management.
We are seeking an experienced Catastrophe Modelling Analyst looking to take the next step in their career to join our team at Munich Re. As a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst you will play a crucial role in assessing and quantifying natural and non-natural catastrophe risks across a broad range of specialty classes. The role intends to be the first position towards an internal research and development function within Exposure Management. This function will cover topics such as climate change research, model validation, claims back-testing and calibration, tool development, scenario design & deployment, emerging risks, portfolio optimisation and event response. You will be responsible for developing and implementing these modelling practices under the leadership of the Catastrophe Risk Manager to enhance our corporate understanding of these risks and contribute to thought leadership in the field.
