Job summary

Eothen Homes is seeking a Senior Carer for the Gosforth care home. The role is based in Gosforth with a 36-hour week and an hourly rate of £15.20. You will lead the staff team, oversee residents’ medications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The position requires strong leadership and communication, with duties including staff supervision and developing care plans to promote resident wellbeing. Enhanced DBS check is required.

Location: Gosforth

Hourly Rate: £15.20 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week

We currently have an opportunity for Day Shift Senior Carer to join our Eothen Homes family; the successful candidate will be based in our care home in Gosforth.

Day Shift Senior Carer hours will be 36 hours per week.

As Senior Carer, you will be expected to manage residents’ medication and take responsibility of the day-to-day running of the household, as well as demonstrating and promoting attitudes and beliefs consistent with being person centred. You will lead the staff team to use their mix of skills to enhance the wellbeing of the people living at the home. You will be required to communicate openly and regularly through meetings, one to one supervisions, coaching alongside care assistants and Domestics developing a clear strategy and plan that involves the full staff team.
