Job description

My client is currently recruiting five Senior Carers across Inverness, offering full-time, part-time, night shift, and day shift opportunities.


As a Senior Carer, you will be responsible for a team, delegating responsibilities and supporting the training and development of staff members to ensure we achieve the highest professional standards of care.


Responsibilities
  1. Delegating responsibilities to the care team.
  2. Rota management ensuring staffing requirements are met.
  3. Provide management support in the absence of the service/deputy manager.
  4. Support your team in creating, implementing, and reviewing care plans.
  5. Be responsible for medication management.
  6. Participating in evaluating service delivery, improvement plans, and audits.
  7. Assist with all aspects of HR including recruitment, inductions and training, performance management, absence management, and involvement in discipline and grievance investigations.

Requirements
  1. SVQ3 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  2. Willingness to work towards further qualifications and training.
  3. Good IT skills.
  4. Compassionate and committed to providing the best standards of care.
