Derbyshire County Council is recruiting for a Senior Care Worker (Nights) in their Specialist Dementia Services team. Based at Oakland Residential Community Care Centre, you will lead a night shift delivering person-centred dementia care, ensuring safety, dignity and wellbeing for residents.

Senior Care Worker (Nights) to join our Specialist Dementia Services team.

Working as part of our highly skilled night team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of people living with dementia. You will provide leadership and support to care colleagues while maintaining high standards of person-centred care throughout the night.

About the Role

• Lead and support the night care team to deliver exceptional dementia care

What We're Looking For

• Has experience working within health and social care, ideally supporting people living with dementia
• Holds, or is willing to work towards, a relevant Health and Social Care qualification
• Has experience supervising or leading a team
• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is caring, reliable and committed to delivering person-centred care
• Understands safeguarding responsibilities and promotes best practice
