Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is seeking a Deputy Manager for a King Street residential care home in Sileby, Leicestershire. The role is full-time and involves leading a dedicated team to deliver person-centred support for adults with disabilities.

You will oversee care plans, monitor wellbeing and safety, and collaborate with families and professionals while ensuring a warm, independent living environment.

Qualifications

Leadership experience with supervising care teams.
Direct personal and social care delivery experience.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of support staff with coaching and development.
Oversee person-centred plans to meet individual needs and goals.
Ensure safe, dignified, and independent care delivery.
Monitor health, wellbeing, safety and medication management.
Organise shifts and ensure effective team communication.
Support recruitment, induction, supervision and appraisal.
Maintain records, budgets and resource management.
Collaborate with families and external professionals; first aid helpful.
