Job summary

Leonard Cheshire in Leicestershire is seeking caring staff for King Street care home to support working-age adults with physical disabilities. The role offers occasional hours and night shifts (7:30pm–7:30am) in a residential setting near Sileby.

You will help with daily living tasks, encourage independence, and accompany individuals to appointments and activities while keeping accurate records. Full induction is provided, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends.
• Personal care experience is helpful but not essential.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Warm, friendly and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes and medication.
• Encourage independence through a person-centred approach.
• Accompany people to appointments, events and community activities.
• Keep clear, accurate records.
• Help each person live life on their own terms.
