Job summary

Lloyd's Register International in Surrey is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our supported living project, providing person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will work with a dedicated team to support daily living and maintain high standards of safety and confidentiality.

You will participate in ongoing training, uphold safeguarding policies, and contribute to a collaborative care environment in a demanding but rewarding setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
• Ideally 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• A caring, empathetic, and non-judgemental attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
• Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development
