TipTopJob in Weymouth, Dorset, is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker for a caring nursing home that delivers general and dementia care. The role is permanent full-time, 36 hours weekly, with shifts across weekdays and weekends.

You will work with an established team to deliver high-quality resident care, update plans, supervise staff, and administer medications in line with policy. NVQ3 in Health and Social Care is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care required.
• Experience in care settings preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication essential.

Responsabilités

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers
• Promote services when dealing with relatives and enquiries
• Update and write care plans and resident documentation
• Make and report realistic assessments to ensure continuity of care
• Administer medication according to policies and procedures
