Join Our Team as a Senior Care & Support Assistant at Care South

Location: Dorset House Residential Home, Hamworthy, BH15 4HL

Pay rate: £13.25 per hour

Hours: Full-time & Part-time available (including alternate weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior & Support Care Assistant to join Dorset House, a caring and friendly residential care home near Upton Country Park and Poole Quay, in Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset.

Who Are We Looking For?

• A naturally caring and compassionate individual
• Someone who can positively impact residents' lives and inspire their team
• Applicants who have completed or are working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Individuals with previous care experience, knowledge of care planning, and medication administration

Responsibilities:

• Support and guide Care Assistants during shifts
• Identify residents' individual needs to deliver person-centred care
• Support residents in maintaining independence
• Provide companionship and build relationships
• Act as a point of escalation for incidents or events
• Contribute to a cooperative, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere
