Norwood House is seeking a Senior Practitioner to lead care staff, oversee medication administration, and maintain accurate care plans in a warm, homely setting near Saxmundham.

You will promote residents' wellbeing, respect individuality, and support daily operations with a dedicated management team. A genuine passion for care and strong communication are essential for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting.
• Willingness to pursue further training and qualifications.
• Desirable: NVQ Level 2+ in Health & Social Care and experience in medication administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hardworking, compassionate, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Leading and guiding care staff to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care
• Dispensing and managing medication in line with our policies and procedures
• Maintaining and updating accurate care plans and documentation
• Promoting residents' wellbeing, respecting their individuality, dignity and preferences
• Supporting the Management team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home
