Roseberry Care Centres in Bishop Auckland is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide hands-on resident support and supervise junior staff within our local care home. You will deliver person-centred care and uphold high standards of service.

The role requires experience as a Senior Carer, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it), and strong leadership and communication skills. We offer competitive pay, ongoing training, and genuine career progression across our 25 care homes.

• Experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Promote dignity, independence, and individual rights of residents.
• Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members.
• Monitoring residents' conditions and report any changes to senior management or nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they feel listened to and respected.
• Ensure the care environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
