Job summary

Priory is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to support the Home Manager in leading a dedicated care team within a Rainham residential home for adults with learning disabilities. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, welcoming environment and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You will partner with residents, families and professionals, guide staff through inductions and ongoing training, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement in service

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care leadership roles such as Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager.
• Strong understanding of CQC/RQIA standards and care quality frameworks.
• Ability to lead teams, develop staff and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support Home Manager to run the home smoothly and meet regulatory standards.
• Lead senior care team to provide outstanding, person-centred support.
• Build relationships with residents, families and professionals.
• Hold staff meetings and ensure open, positive communication.
• Oversee inductions, training and encouragement of new staff.
• Oversee risk assessments and safety checks for compliance.
• Contribute to quality checks, audits and service improvements.
• Collaborate with regional managers to develop new ideas and services.
• Ensure staff feel valued, supported and motivated to perform.
