Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist settings. You will plan and implement care that gives residents security, dignity and independence, and you will build strong relationships with residents and families.

You will supervise care assistants, ensure accurate records, and work closely with nursing staff to provide stimulation and support through activities and appropriate care

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain high standards of care.
• Plan and implement personalised care plans for residents.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; support with activities and medication administration.
