Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a full-time 33 hours/week role. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensure personalised care plans and support residents with dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care needs.

You’ll assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, while maintaining accurate records and delivering compassionate, dignified care. The role emphasises kindness, time management, and building strong relationships with residents and their families to support

Qualifications

• Completed Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care.
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through activities.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with care delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of the care provided and manage time effectively.
