Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care in dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care settings. You will help residents maintain dignity, independence and safety, while building strong relationships with families and staff.

The role includes supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, administering medication, and coordinating care plans, activities and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent
• Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge
• Brilliant positive energy and ability to get along with people

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver personalised care plans.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with care delivery and medication.
• Maintain accurate records of the care provided and residents' needs.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
