Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support and develop the care team in a luxury home. You will lead by example, mentor colleagues, and deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences.

You will safely administer medication, review care plans, and liaise with healthcare professionals while upholding confidentiality, dignity and compliance with health and safety standards. A rewarding role with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds, or is working towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Has previous experience as a Care Assistant in residential or nursing environments.
• Confident administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Can work effectively as part of a busy team under pressure.
• Committed to delivering exceptional resident care every day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents, implementing and reviewing care plans.
• Safely administer medication and maintain medication records.
• Review and update individual care plans for optimum resident support.
• Mentor and lead less experienced care team members.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes promptly.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, relatives and colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity for every resident.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and infection control policies.
