Crystal Care Collection is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our care home team in the United Kingdom. You will support residents with person-centred care, act as a Key Worker, and help mentor junior staff to uphold high standards of care.

The role involves medication administration, care plan reviews, and liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and caring demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is required or in progress.
• Experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to residents' needs.
• Act as Key Worker for allocated residents and implement care plans.
• Safely administer medications and maintain accurate records.
• Review and update care plans to ensure best support.
• Mentor and lead junior team members to promote best practice.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes promptly.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and relatives to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity for every resident.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control policies.
• Assist with meals and hydration and promote independence.
• Support housekeeping to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
