Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and coordinate a team of care workers, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. The role supports the Manager, stepping in during their absence, and fosters an environment that respects residents’ rights and promotes person-centred care and independence.

You will be responsible for care planning, medication administration, confidentiality, and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and co-ordinate a team of care workers to provide high standards of care.
• Assist the Manager in overall home management and in their absence.
• Promote residents' rights, dignity and person-centred care.
• Support planning and reviewing of residents’ care and independence.
• Maintain medication administration and care delivery for a designated group.
• Ensure confidentiality is respected and safety procedures followed.
