Orchard Care Homes Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead the on-site care team at Eaton Court Nursing Home, Grimsby. The role focuses on assessing individual needs, developing care plans, and delivering comprehensive support to residents with dignity and respect.

You will supervise staff, mentor colleagues, and ensure high standards of medical, physical, and emotional care are maintained. NHS liaison and family updates are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
• Previous experience of at least 6 months working as a Senior Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality care
• Administering medication safely and accurately
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and updating care records
• Liaising with healthcare professionals and families
• Supporting residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities
• Ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming
• Promoting dignity, independence, and choice for every resident
• Participating in audits, inspections, and team meetings
