Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to join our care home team in Wales. You’ll supervise a dedicated group of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager and help support the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans and reviews to ensure high‑quality, personalised care for every resident.

We look for NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, a warm, compassionate approach, and a commitment to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Deliver warm, person-centred care and maintain residents' dignity and preferences.
