Job summary

Cinnamon Care Collection’s Earlsfield Court in Bexhill-on-Sea is recruiting a Care Coordinator to support the General Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the home on a 24-hour basis, ensuring excellence in resident care and leading the care team.

Your responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments, developing and updating care plans, ensuring communication for a person-centred approach, and overseeing Safe Medication Management with robust audits.

Qualifications

• Be working towards or have an NVQ 4 in Care or a Level 5 in Care Management or a Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management.
• Two years’ experience in long-term care or similar industry.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and clearly document care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident assessment, involve the resident in identifying needs and preferences, and integrate into the care plan.
• Communicate resident information to ensure person-centred care.
• Work hands-on with the team to ensure appropriate care levels; lead by example.
• Prepare weekly A&I report and act on concerns to improve quality.
• Oversee Safe Medication Management with audits and identify training needs.
• Conduct supervision meetings and annual reviews following Cinnamon Care processes.
• Ensure staff coverage via scheduling in Deputy Manager's absence.
• Assist with investigations and disciplinary procedures with the Deputy Manager.
